I've recently decided to get serious about photography. I am learning new things everyday and decided to make a blog to help others that also have an interest in photography and want to take it a step further. I am by no means a professional but I think I know more about taking quality pictures than the average person. I plan to review the equipment that I've used so far. In a class I took, we used Canon and Nikon equipment. The Canon stuff felt more comfortable to me, so that's what I bought and will be reviewing a majority of the time. Please keep any comments in a positive light or don't leave them at all. Thanks!

Since in your line of work you may often have to deal with hundreds of photos, I wonder if you would need a solution to eliminate the repetitive and mundane tasks (like watermarking, resizing, converting, uploading to FTP and so on)? Our own solution, Bits&Coffee BatchPhoto (www.batchphoto.com), can automate all those basic edits by creating hot folders with associated custom scripts that will be applied to the newly added images.
